Various automotive parts including a carburetor, circular vents, a clock, a spark plug, belts, a fan, a motor, and gauges laid out on a gray surface.

Engine rebuilds for air‑cooled Porsche 356, 912, and 911 range from stock restorations to high‑performance conversions. Stock rebuilds maintain factory specs, original displacement, mild cams, and tight tolerances for period accuracy and resale. Big‑bore builds increase displacement with larger cylinders/pistons, upgraded fueling, and reinforced bottom end for more torque.

Willhoit‑style and other performance builds use custom barrels, high‑compression pistons, aggressive cams, improved breathing, stronger valve-trains, and enhanced cooling/oiling for greater loads.
